The journey of twenty years of Penplusbytes started from very humble beginnings. We identified the need to support and train journalists in the use of ICT tools in their line of duty. This was a major challenge in the early 2000s. We, however, took up the challenge no matter how difficult it appeared to be. With time, we added on elections coverage, partnerships with other CSOs, NGOs etc.

Today, Penplusbytes is where it is because of the support and cooperation of the community we belong to and the amazing Human Resources available.

On the occasion of our 20th anniversary celebrations, I take this opportunity to congratulate the management team for the tremendous work being done even in the midst of covid-19 challenges and also to the Board for the continuous support, advise and encouragement to the team.

Congratulations to us all and cheers to 20 more years and over!!!
