
Policy Brief on Enhancing inclusive participation of PWDs in elections: challenges and solutions
This policy brief is a product of the Penplusbytes Webinar Series on Elections 2020 which aims at finding solutions to the multifaceted issues of inclusivity, legitimacy and acceptance of fair election results in Ghana. It contains pertinent issues around ensuring the inclusive participation of persons with disabilities (PWDs) in elections which needs the critical attention of government, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), PWD associations, international communities and all who stand for equity in elections.

Penplusbytes’ “Deliver – Quality Media Amplifying Vulnerable Voices” with funding from STAR Ghana Foundation (www.inclusivitygh.org) is adding its voice to the debate and seeks to empower the over 5 million PWDs in Ghana to become independently able to actively engage the media and duty-bearers using new digital channels.

With collected data remaining valid as at the 31st March, 2019, this report rates how media establishments have made good use of their social media platforms particularly Facebook pages and Twitter handles to reach out and engage audiences by employing a quantitative research module.

Penplusbytes 2018 Annual Report
2018 presented a great year for Penplusbytes. We saw some exciting innovations in newsrooms all the way through to government agencies.
