Penplusbytes Trains Journalists on Reporting on Health using ICTs

icts and healthPenplusbytes will on Tuesday July 7, 2015 train health reporters on the effective use of ICT tools in covering health related issues at the New Media Hub in Accra.

The one day workshop dubbed “Reporting on Health using ICTs” seeks to increase awareness and to elicit greater responsiveness towards improving health conditions in Ghana through efficient and accurate reportage.

The prevalence of diseases leading to newer medical research activities and discoveries undoubtedly calls for knowledge and skills in identifying sources of data, undertaking online research and new digital technologies to tell comprehensive health related stories and this the workshop seeks to enhance.

Participants of this workshop include journalists from various media houses in the Ghanaian space such as Joy FM, Graphic Communications, Ghana News Agency, Peace FM, Metro TV, TV3, Citi FM, GBC, Daily Guide, TV AFRICA, ETV and The Sun Newspaper.
